Like many others reviewing this memoriam, I went to St. Mary Magdalen with Ronny from grades 1 through 8. We were also altar boys and fellow classmates of Tim Hare, Pat Muldoon, Maria Pereira, and Robert Rutt…all gone now. Ron was very smart and also became quite the entrepreneur when he started his own company in the 80’s. His factory in Camarillo made velcro wallets and assorted bags. He was very successful. He was very close to his family and equally close to his friends. I had a lot of good times with Ronny. I lost track of him when he moved to Puerto Rico and started a similar business there. Sadly, I heard the news of his death years ago; I believe he lived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the time of his death and is survived by a sister. Rest in peace, brother. – Joe Beltran

Timothy Hare - Deceased 2010
I met Tim Hare in the third grade at St. Mary Magdalen. We were friends and altar boys in Catholic school. We remained friends all throughout our lives totalling a 50 year span. He introduced me to Nor. Cal redwood country when he moved here in ‘95. I then moved up in ‘98 and am still here on my beautiful 40 acre ranch. His ashes are under a baby redwood tree we planted in his memory right here on my land. I kept his old beat-up Dodge work truck as a reminder of him and how very hard he worked as a plumber. Tim found out last January he was sick, then passed over on April 17th. God bless and rest his Soul.- Steve Johnson
Chad Hartley - Deceased 2005
Chatam Dean Hartley was Chad’s real name…not many knew that!! We became friends after high school because he and my brother Steve were friends…Chad and I used to love to dance together at the infamous “Lamplighter” on Friday Nights!! Fun memories…we also saw Elvis at the Long Beach Arena…he had a heart of Gold and a smile that would allow him to be extremely charming. He was a proud husband, stepdad and father to his son Thomas. He is resting in peace… – Ellen Etchechoury Heser
Roger Heckman - Deceased 2011
Roger & I dated in high school and college and then went our separate ways. After several decades, we reconnected in 2000 & married 02-02-02. How lucky we were to be with the person we loved. On our honeymoon in New Zealand, Roger chose necklaces for us that were the Indian symbol for eternity. Perfect. He was a wonderful friend, man and husband and is now resting with God. – Marilou McCurdy Heckam
